In a spreadsheet if you want to print a part of it, and not the whole of it. You have to select the part which you want to print from large spreadsheet some columns or totals, when finished selecting. If your printing area is not clear the area which you are going to print then it will set the setting back to normal and print full of the spreadsheet.

First of all just open your excel sheet. Now you should highlight those cells which you want to print. For this purpose you have to highlight the cell which is in your range and highlight all those cells which you want to print. If you have the software on excel 2007 go to Page Layout -> Print Area -> Set Print Area.

If you have an older version of excel in your operating system you go to File -> Print Area -> Set Print area. If you click the print you will come to notice that all the cells you have selected will be printed.
