Opening your old PST archives is really a simple thing.Â

The first thing you need to do is to move the .pst file to your hard drive if it is stored on a removable device. Once it is on the hard drive, right click it and make sure that the Read-Only attribute is NOT selected.

Open your Outlook and on the File menu select Import and Export. Choose the option Import from another program or file and click Next.
Â
Choose the Personal Folder File and click Next again.Â
Â
Type or copy and paste the path and name of your .pst file and click Next.
Â
The only thing that's left to be done is to select the folder you'd like to import. If you want the whole .pst file, just click on the top of the list and click Finish.

After it's done, you'll have the full access to the mails stored in the .pst file via your Outlook.
