I am planning to visit my relatives in the US this mid-year. I need some insights about federal tax when buying a digital camera. Do taxes vary between states? Is there any state that don't impose any taxes on electronic gadgets or at least where the cheapest is?

How much is federal tax when buying a digital camera?

Every state in the united states of America imposes different sales tax on different products. You have to pay the sales tax for the item you bought while you are here and I am not sure if that is refunded. You should  clarify your doubts regarding sales tax with  the US embassy in your country. Some state in the US doesn’t have these tax at all but most of the state charge sales tax.
