I have a desktop PC and I have installed Windows 7 in it. There are a lot of options to choose from when it comes to choosing screen saver or desktop background in Windows 7. But my desired option is not listed. I want Windows to show pictures from a different folder each time the background changes.

Window 7 provides us utility to set up out own slide show as a windows desktop background.

Make sure you have Microsoft 'Silverlight' installed in your PC. If not, then you can easily install it from the internet, free of cost.

The Window will not show images from different folders automatically rather combine your desired pictures in one single folder.

Open start menu and type 'Change desktop background' in the search tab, and press enter.
If the pictures you want to use are not in the list press 'Browse' button and select images from the folders in your computer.
Make sure you check box for the each picture that you want to use in your slide show.
Adjust the image position and time of the next image

Save your setting.
