I am working on a document and I want to import inventory from a text or CSV file. The software I am using does not have this facility. Is there anyone who has imported a text or CSV data into database? Anyone with an idea? I want to import my data without messing it up. Any suggestions? Kindly assist.
We need concrete information for what you are doing and what particular software or application you are doing your document. If this is report or document was being modified in Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel and you want to import data coming from your CSV file? Give us the concrete information so that we can assess you for your queries.
By the way, let us assume that you are working in Microsoft Word; you can get the data from your CSV file by using the Mail Merge features of the application. First thing to do is making a connection to your CSV file then distribute the fields into your documents. Need a little programming knowledge with this method but not exactly making a program.
You may also use Macro to import the CSV file to your document.
