How can I Use My WebCam In Laptop?

I Have An Apple Laptop With Mac Operating System. Now I Install Windows XP In My Laptop. Every Thing Is Working Only Some Of Keyboard Key And Web Cam Didn’t Work Properly.

My Laptop Processor Is Intel Dual Core. I Don't Know About Motherboard. I Am Trying Some Webcam Software But Still It Not Work.

What Can I Do?

How can I Use My WebCam In Laptop?

Hello Jamsanderson,

I can see that all the hardware component of your laptop meets the minimum requirements to make your web camera works. This might cause by incompatibility of the web camera and the software installed in your computer. I have here instructions for you to follow, hope this fixes the problem.

1. Software has to be compatible with OS you have and the camera both for hardware and software. This can be found in Program and Compatibility Wizard screen.

2. Uninstall camera, download the latest version of the driver.

3. Check wires if it's plugged in tight, then re-install it back with new software needed.

4. A step by Step process will begin, follow the wizard These should fix the problem but if not, camera might be the issue itself. Chao!

How can I Use My WebCam In Laptop?

If u are a first time user, there is an easy of accessing the webcam. The only requirement is that  you have hp quick play software and latest driver for webcam.

1: Firstly download latest version for your webcam. Now go to the hp support and drivers for the most update to date hp drivers.  Now enter your model number and choose exact model number. Then select your operating system.Download the webcam driver  and software programs.Install webcam driver and reboot computer at the end of the installation process.

2: Launch the HP quick play application and click on "music video picture" icon in HP quick play. HP webcam is available among of the list device.Now active webcam image by double clicking.

Now you can do video chat with your friends.
