How do I Repair My UPS?

Hello, I Have an Apollo Brands UPS.

I Use It Last 3 Years, First Time It Can Backup 30-40 Minutes.

Now It Is Down And Give Me Low Backup Under 5 Minutes.

I Charge It 4-5 Hours Regularly But It Don't Give Me Backup What I Want.

Now I Suffer Very Low Backup And I Lose Sometime My Important Document.

What Can I Do Now?

How do I Repair My UPS?

A UPS is meant for back up purpose only, as to give you time for closing up and save the file in a folder in a drive. UPS gives 30 to 40 mins back up , that's true. UPS has got a charger section which connects the AC current to the battery. When power goes off, DC current from battery comes to its help. Therefore as you said in your question above, the battery is not getting charged or maybe the chargins section circuit maybe of some problem. Its technical problem so consult to a UPS technician. Possibilities are battery needs to be replaced as it is not getting charged. Or the circuit must be repaired if there's the main problem. A bateery would costs around i guess $20-$30. So please check to the cost of the battery and a new UPS. If it seems new UPS will be wise enough , go for it. Decision is on you.

How do I Repair My UPS?

UPS stands for Uninterruptable Power supply. It helps you to save your PC from voltage problems and give you a time limit backup. It differs from voltage to voltage. 650VA backing up for 15 minutes and 1200VA backing up for 30-50 minutes. It depends on Battery. When Battery get charged then it starts backing up. It gets charge from electricity. Sometimes your voltage harms your PC. It helps you to save your PC. Your UPS is three years old. Its Battery has lost its power. Generally an UPS gives its best effort in first 1 or 2 years. If you change your Battery of your UPS you will get back up from your UPS as you had got it first. Change your UPS battery and your UPS will become as new.
