I Install Windows 7 Operating System Last Night. But My Sound Driver Can Not Found In Motherboard CD.

I am Trying Device Manager Search It Found Hardware But When I install It not Working?

What Can I Do Now?

How do I Install Sound Driver ?

Network policy setting may be causing your computer to not complete this process, on top of the missing sound driver. Thus check if it is connected to a network.
To be able to successfully install the sound driver, you have to be logged on as an administrator. Try to follow these steps:

• Open Device Manager.
• From the Start Menu select ‘Control Panel’ then click ‘Performance and Maintenance’, and then select ‘System’. 
• Click ‘Device Manager’ on the hardware tab then configure the device.

Take note that after a reformat and new installation of the said Operating System, you have to install the motherboard chipset driver and all the drivers of each of the devices you have like video card, WiFi, Bluetooth, tuner, etc.). Also, always keep in mind that Windows independently does not have definite driver.

Since you have just installed Windows 7, you can also try these steps:

• Configure your multimedia devices (Sound card).
• To do this, Open ‘Device Manager’, select ‘Sound, video and game controllers’, right-click the device you wish to configure and click ‘Properties’, and lastly change the configuration settings for that device.

How do I Install Sound Driver ?

What is the series of your motherboard?

Try to find someone who use the same series. Then try his Motherboard CD. But it would be better if you contact the showroom you bought the Motherboard from. Inform them about this problem & they may provide you a new CD. You can check the website also.

How do I Install Sound Driver ?

Hi,

You did not indicate which operating system and motherboard you are using. The sound driver depends on which motherboard you are using. Look at the brand of your motherboard, and then search through Google for the manufacturer's website. If you are using ASUS, you should go to their website support page, and then search for the model of your PC and select your operating system.

Download and install the appropriate driver as needed.
