How to have Accuweather removed the Samsung Wave widget

The Accuweather widget is installed in my Samsung Wave. But it has been shutting down and show my home screen. I want to uninstall the widget. But I thought it may damage my phone. Is it possible that I uninstall the widget by myself?

Hello Carey,

Before you go ahead and uninstall it, I would like you to do below steps and see if the problem has been sorted out.

1)    In Application Manager try to clear the data of AccuWeather and restart your phone.

2)    All the information from AccuWeather comes online so it creates cache and temporary files, so clear cache and remove temp files.

You can definitely report this to Samsung, but not sure how much time they would take to resolve the issue.

Even if you uninstall this widget then it would not harm or corrupt you phone as it’s a 3rd party software and no system file is attached to it.

You can try above options and if the problem still persists then I would suggest you to uninstall AccuWeather from your phone.
