Hi George,
The best solution would be Internet Download Manager for you. Search in Google for this, then download and install in your computer. It will also install the plugins needed for Google Chrome and other browsers. You will be now able to download any videos including the flash videos from any site. You will get a 31 day free trial at first, so please buy the software if you like.

Hello George Amash. There is this very good Google Chrome plug-in called FVD Video Downloader.

It downloads video (and even audio) from almost any page! This is the link for the plug-in.

Just add that plug-in to chrome. Make sure the plug-in is installed and then restart your chrome.

However it doesn't download videos from YouTube. Well for that, you can just use keepvid. Go to keepvid.com and paste the URL of the video you want to download. Just enable your java and you can download any video you want from YouTube. Keepvid only let's you download from YouTube, Dailymotion and from other famous sites only.

So to summarize, if you want to download just from YouTube only, Keepvid will be enough.

But if you also want to download videos from any sites, unknown and not famous pages, use the first option, FVD Downloader plug-in.
