Every generation of iPod has a different solution, when it has frozen. To reset it is a simple solution with simple steps involved.

HOW TO RESET 7TH GENERATION IPOD NANO:

1) Press the hold button and the home button simultaneously. Hold button is located at the top right corner and the home button is located at the bottom front.

2) When the screen becomes black, leave both the buttons.

3) If the apple logo displays, then the iPod is restarting. Main screen will appear after some seconds. In this way you have reset the 7th generation iPod Nano.


HOW TO RESET 6TH GENERATION IPOD NANO

1) Press and hold wake button and volume button simultaneously. Wake button is located at the top right and volume down button is located at the far left.

2) When the screen becomes black, leave both the buttons.

3.) If the apple logo displays, then the iPod is restarting. Main screen will appear after some seconds.

4) In this way you have reset the 6th generation iPod Nano.

HOW TO RESET 1ST-5TH GENERATION IPOD NANO:

1) Make sure the hold button located at the top is not one, because it can lock all the buttons. This way the clicks won’t respond and the iPod will appear frozen.

2) If it is off, hold the menu button and center button simultaneously.
