As I updated my iPad 2 to iOS 8, I am now unable to delete the downloaded apps. When I long press any app like Subway Surf or TOI(Times of India) or anything else, it doesn't show up the cross(x) mark to remove the app, instead the app icon just shivers at its place just like any factory installed app like Safari, Mail etc with no cross(x) mark on it. Some apps are taking a lot of storage on my iPad and it is running pretty slow. I want to delete them. Please help.
Unable to delete downloaded applications on iPad 2(WiFi)?
There may be problem with your sitting if you are unable to delete the apps on your iPad. Try to change the sitting by following below steps.
1. Open the setting app and select the General option
2. Select the ‘Restrictions’ on your right hand side.
3. Put your passcode
4. After entering the passcode, look for the ‘Deleting Apps’ which is under ‘Allow’. Now make the ‘Deleting App' option as NO.
5. After finishing the all steps, exit from setting and now you can able to delete the apps from your home screens.
