Today I purchased my HP Photosmart C4580 but got an error after installing the hardware. I am going out of my mind now because even the HP Tech support never reply my inquiries. I'm trying to post my problem maybe some of you can help me. Thank you.

I understand your frustration regarding your HP Photosmart C4580 installation. We will work together to resolve your concern.
Your problem happens when a previously installed HP product was uninstalled incorrectly or did not complete. If this case happens some files were left at the HP destination folder. These files will cause the new HP product installation to have problems with installation as the files that were left were not replaced by the new ones as the installation program cannot identify these.
These files are:
1.) HPZipm12.dll
2.) HPZinw12.dll
both files can be found on C:WindowsSystem32
Here's what you have to do:
1. You have to make sure those files are not currently installed on your system.
2. You have to go the Directory and delete/rename those files. (Go to My Computer -> Double click the Local Disk (C:) -> Double click System32 folder and search for the files)
3. Once renamed/deleted, run the installation again.
If you are installing a printer, you need to install the driver software on your computer. If you simply connect the printer on your computer, it will not work because there is no software that will help identify the device and make it functional or operational. If the printer is brand new, you should find the installation CD included in the package.

If you installed the driver but it doesn’t install or it gives you errors, make sure you are installing it with an administrator account. It will not install on limited or non-admin user accounts. If you have an admin account but still the printer software does not install, it means the driver is meant for a different operating system.
It is not compatible with your computer. In this case, you can download the correct driver from the manufacturer’s website. On the other hand, if there is no installation CD included in the package, you can always download the driver software from the manufacturer’s website.
