How to download lync extension for Google chrome?

Chrome does not interact with other programs.

So, your attempt to join a meeting with the Join Meeting link, it loads an aspx to search for the client outside of the browser. 

aspx runs into this roadblock and fails the search and falls back to the web app.

You can try latest Google chrome version its work properly with lync.

If you want to install the Lync extension on your Google Chrome web browser, you can install Lync Meeting Scheduler. This extension allows you to create a Lync meeting and schedule a Google Calendar event. Another thing about using Microsoft Lync on Google Chrome, when you join a Lync meeting using Google Chrome, you may receive the message “Google Chrome no longer supports Lync Web App”.

This problem happens after you install the December 2014 cumulative update for Microsoft Lync Server 2013. To fix the problem, you need to install the December 31, 2014 Cumulative Update.
