Hi.  I'm new to Google Docs and I'm planning to upload a spreadsheet document  in it wherein viewers can input data and automatically save upon inputting.  Can I also export Excel .xls file into Google Docs?  How do I use Google document api php?

Yes you can export Excel .xls file into Google Docs

 

Procedure:

ran the Excel Report and saved it as a .txt file. BUT THEN, go to Google Docs

 

.Created a New Spreadsheet

.FILE

.IMPORT

.Selected the .txt file

.Selected to the format to Import it as

.Press OK
