How do I register ESET NOD32 offline installer?

Hi guys.  I'm trying to register my ESET NOD32 Antivirus 6 using ESET Live Installer but I'm always getting an "Error 2878" message.  How do I use and register ESET NOD32 offline installer?  Please help.  I'm on Windows 7.  Thanks in advance.

How do I register ESET NOD32 offline installer?

 

Hello Elijah

There are a couple of reasons for your situation. Firstly make sure you are using the right product key. That is, the registration key before completing installation and also make sure your software is not corrupted especially if you purchased and downloaded it online.

Secondly make sure you are clicking on the right link in relation to where you got the software. If not, select the right link and continue installation. In case you are have an eMachine or Toshiba brand computer, there might be another antivirus speck in your computer that is causing the error. Uninstall the Norton Internet security if you still have it in your computer. By going to your computer’s control panel and click the add or remove programs. From which you will select Norton to be uninstalled. Further go to the programs and features in still in the control panel and choose and uninstall Toshiba Laptop by Symantec. You can the restart your computer, download a new live installer to be effective and begin installation again and if error appears click ignore and go ahead. Hope this helps you.

How do I register ESET NOD32 offline installer?

I have read the issue about ESET NOD32 and I would like to offer you my help, here is a steps to download ESET NOD32 installer:

 

1- Click the link below to download (ESET Live Installer):

http://download.eset.com/special/live-installer/eset_nod32_antivirus_live_installer.exe

 

2- Click Save the file to the Desktop. 

 

3- When your download is finished, click Run to begin the installation process. 

 

 

Follow these steps below to install ESET NOD32: 

 

1- On welcome screen, choose he correct language then click Install. 

 

2- Click I Accept to continue. 

 

3- In the Detection of unwanted applications window, click the  option you prefer then click Next.

 

4- Click Finish. 

 

5- In the Activate window type down your ESET username and password.

 

6- Click Activate to continue.
