Hi there.

I have the 2.4 GHz Linksys E1000 Wireless N router that has 4 Ethernet ports.

How do I make a router port extension?

I need more ports for the expansion of my small network.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, Dorothy.

I got some advice to help you expanding your network. In order to have multiple Ethernet ports connected to your router.

You need a switch or hub.

Switches, are developed with multiple ports to support larger networks.

Every switch, you can connect one of your router Ethernet ports to provide internet connection to every ports in your switch.

So, in your four ports router you can make four networks expansion.

Hope this will help you to start building your networks.

Be regards.
