Hi there. I'm trying to delete a certain file but I am unable to do so. I keep on having the message "File cannot be deleted because it is still in use". Is there any other way I can delete the file? How do I delete file Windows 7 64 bit? Thanks.

I need to know what is the file type, is it system file or just normal program in use?
Any way restart your pc then keep pressing F8 at start up log in with safe mode option
do not freak out from the windows it will be different a little bitÂ
Try to delete it ,if it did not work open task manager ctrl +alt+del end any open programs then go to process tabÂ
and end any thing related to the file then try to delete it again
be careful maybe the file should not be deleted , it is  system file or a virus you should scan your pc incase
