Greetings Techyv members. Please let me know how to install data backup monitoring solutions in my windows XP laptop. What are the steps needed for this kind of installation? How can I know what is the best data backup monitoring solutions available in the market right now? Can you recommend something for me?

I Would suggest you go for  "PRTG BACKUP MONITORING" solution. Not only is free (version with 10 sensors) but is very easy to use and quite reliable. 

Has nice features and will certainly provide you all the info you need if a backup is successfully performed or not.

Moreover, it will provide you the following:

1. If a backup is successful or not.

2. Compatible with all backup solutions that can support email notification

3. Will inform you if a backup will fail via a predefined way of notification (SMS, email, etc.)
