How do I convert Excel pivot tables to XLS?Â
I tried saving it on Excel but I can't edit it because it's in a read-only state.Â
I'm on Windows Vista 64 bit and Microsoft Excel 2003.Â
Is this a compatibility issue?

In the Pivot table wizard click ALT + D to create Multiple Consolidation Ranges PivotTable." then select I'll "create my own page fields". Select your data and double click on the grand total value.
You will see a new sheet containing all of the data in your pivot table.
Now you can edit your sheet and save it as XLS.
