I have created an ID on Y-Mail, but mistakenly I accepted the wrong Username. Since that would be of no use ever, I want to remove that account. Can anyone tell me how to delete Yahoo Email account?
If you want to terminate a Y-Mail ID, it may be a little difficult to you as this option would be found under various pages of Help menus. Following is the method to delete your account immediately:
1) Sign into your Yahoo! Account that you want to terminate.
2) Scroll through the homepage and go to Help link at the bottom-right corner.
3) Choose on the ‘My Account’ option.
4) Now, select ‘Register or Delete Account’ section.

5) Click on ‘Closing your Yahoo! Account’ link, and then hit the ‘Account Termination’ button.
6) Enter your login details again and read the notifications page after that.
7) Enter the password, fill out the CAPTCHA, and then click on the ‘YES Terminate this Account’ button.
