Hi,

Deleting file using Dos Command just put an extra careful. I will give you the syntax in deleting your recent documents. If you’re using Windows 2000 and Windows XP here’s the command and the steps to follow:

1. Click the start button.

2. Click Run then type CMD. It looks like this when you run the CMD windows.

Dos mode Windows Command

3. Type this syntax: del [drive:][path]filename

DOS program has some different commands then a normal operating system like windows, but still we are able to delete or create any file or folders by using DOS program. “Del” is the command to delete any file by using DOS program. Please press the Run button from the start button and type COMMAND then a DOS program window will be opened.

Here you can type your deletion command Del the then file path to delete, like following:

Del D:MobilePhotos/mypic
