How to delete a page in the middle of the document?

Hi!

I just found out that Microsoft Works cannot handle the formatting of my 70+ pages document. I decided to create individual page files and convert them to PDF.

To be able to create these files, I must eliminate all the pages in the original document except the one that’s going to be transformed.

Is there any way to delete a blank page or a particular written page that is placed somewhere in the middle of the document?

If you are going to delete a blank page in the MS Works, just click View > All Characters. The page break at the end of each page will now be visible. Select the page break on the page that you want to delete and press the delete key on your keyboard. After this, the page is now removed.

It is also easy to delete blank pages in adobe acrobat. After you convert your MS Works to pdf files, you can delete the blank pages by going to the Document menu and clicking on Delete Pages. In the Delete Pages dialog box, type the same number of page after the word From and after the word To if you are only deleting one page. Then click OK and close the Delete Pages. Confirm that you want to delete the blank page by clicking Yes.

Hallo Cherie,

For sure there is a way that you can use to delete a black page that is appearing in a document. All you have to do is the following:

  • Place the blinking cursor at the end of the last sentence of the page that has text just before the blank page.
  • Press the delete button continuously till the text on the page after the blank page moves back to the blank page.
  • And that way, you will have removed the blank page.

Or if you had made any page breaks that might make the text not to move to the blank page, remove them by going to page layout and then click on breaks.
