How to deal OS issue

I have a laptop and  its OS is Windows XP Home Edition. I changed the OS by the help of the technician.

He changed it to Window XP Professional.

I was trying to use my laptop with the new software, but an update suddenly appeared which says "you may be a victim of software counterfeiting".

So I wanted to change again my OS to the original OS I had.

How do I deal this issue?

How would I change the OS again?

The reason you are getting this error is because your copy of Windows is not genuine. It is possible to use this pirated copy for a short period of time but once you click on the update, you will encounter such error like the one you are having now. Because there is an update that will validate the copy of your Windows OS. What you need to do is to legally purchase a genuine copy of Windows XP OS. But you cannot download it legitimately even in Microsoft website but you can still purchase it online. Below are the links where you can buy a copy of your Windows XP:

Windows XP on Amazon

Windows XP on eBay
