Hi,

I am using the NVU software to create a website. I currently work on my computer which is installed with Windows XP. What I want to do is put a “Submit” button on the invoice page so that, once clicked, the invoice and the customer information are sent directly to my e-mail. I am not an expert and am quite new in using computers so I want to know how I can be able to do this. Thank you.

Hello Hebert Luke,

To use the submit button to send the invoice and the customer information are sent directly to my e-mail, you will need to know how use the feed back form script. The form itself will not do much as the visitors can click the submit button many times without success but still you do not receive any message from them.

So you will need to use the feedback form script, which will carry out the task of sending the email contents in form of an email message. The script itself is just a computer program which will process the contents of the form that are sent by the web browser of the visitors. What it does is taking a raw message and then formatting it into a regular email message, and thereafter it will send it through the email to the webmaster. For the script to work, it has to run on the server of the web host.
