Info needed on 13″ mac book pro

Hi.  I am curious whether the new 2011 13" mac book pro is fast and can handle 5DII? 

I have the old one (2010) and it is slow when I try to edit 5DII files. 

My choice would run only at the 13" ones since I am always on the go and would like it to be portable. 

Can anyone help me with this one?

Info needed on 13″ mac book pro

Hi Mamie_Loomis,

Mac Book Pro is the first laptop to introduce thunderbolt pro.

Because the technology  is basically constructed to Intel's light Peak, Mac Book Pro is very high in peripheral  performance and its resolution display is also very high.  

And in terms of the battery life it stays for almost 7 hours in which it will definitely suit your needs.

Therefore I conclude, the new 2011 13" Mac Book Pro is fast and can handle 5DII and it works very well in many Raw converters.  

I suggest you to try also SSD if you really wanted a high performance.
