How to create screenshot picture of a video file?

Hello experts!

I had a homemade video file taken from a digital camera. It’s a Family outing video about 75 minute length. I want to create a picture files or screenshot of some part of the video.  I would prefer to have it by reviewing back the video and just by clicking, I can have a screenshot or a picture file of what I want from the video. I’m running in a win7 OS.Please help.

How to create screenshot picture of a video file?

It would be best for you to try it out GOM player. GOM player supports a variety of video file formats not only you can watch those video files but at the same time you can have a screenshot of the video in jpg picture format. By simply clicking the screenshot button you can have as many pictures screenshot of the video playing as you want. First download GOM player here. 

After download, install GOM player and follow directions to finish installation. Now open your video file with GOM player. When GOM player starts playing the video press F7 key of your keyboard or clicking the middle button on the lower right of GOM player to open the control panel window.

Just click SCREEN CAPTURE button to create a picture screenshot of the video. All screenshot are saved to GOM player folder at your MY DOCUMENTS directory. Click ADVANCED CAPTURE to change the default settings on where you want to save the screenshot picture files.

How to create screenshot picture of a video file?

Hi

I will help you in this task of screenshot taking. We will use a video player called VLC Player. First download VLC Player if you do not have from videolan.org. It supports almost all formats and many advanced features. Open the video clip from which you want to take screenshot. While running, go to VLC menu and click on Video and then Snapshot. Your pictures will be stored in Pictures folder.
