You can convert WMV movie files to MOV format by using the FlipForMac;

You will need to do:

1. download or install FlipForMac,  After you have installed the free FlipForMac plugin, launch QuickTime player.
2. Now by using QuickTime:
3. Open the WMV file you want to convert,
4. From the File menu select Save As
5. Select the type as Movie And you will notice the file type changes .MOV
6. Now click save and wait while the processing time.
