How to convert img into bmp? There are some instances that we have to make image conversion process for some reasons, like in business advertising or any other multimedia or graphical interface websites. I have to convert img into bmp for our own website banner design. What is the latest and secure converter that can make this possible?

Photoshop Elements enables you to convert images to bitmap mode, commonly used in printing line art, such as black-and-white logos, illustrations.
Also, you can scan your analog signature as a bitmap image and import it into other programs.
You need to first convert to grayscale and then convert from grayscale to bitmap.
There I give some steps to convert image
1. Open an image that you want to convert to Bitmap mode.
2. Choose Image > Mode > Bitm
3. Click OK.
The Bitmap dialog box appears, providing options for selecting the output resolution and a conversion method.
4. Select a resolution.
By default, the Bitmap dialog box displays the current resolution. You can edit the text box and type a new resolution value or accept the default .
5. Select an option from the Use drop-down menu.
The figure shows a comparison of the different methods used in converting RGB images to bitmaps.
6. Click OK.
Your image is converted to Bitmap mode.
Simply rename the extension img to .bmp. It is the easiest way to convert to a .bmp.
Then you need to do a little more thing. Windows explorer: click on tools/ folder options/ view and then you will see “Hide extensions for known files types”, and then un-tick this option.
That’s it.
