Hi,
I have a lot of data written in Excel Spreadsheet, it is hard to search data in Excel, I want all of it transferred to Access.
Is there a way to automatically convert all my spreadsheet data to database?
Or will I have to copy paste (lot of tiring work!)?
Thank You. Â
How to convert Excel Spreadsheet to Access Database easily?
First edit the excel file which you want to convert to Access. Remove unwanted rows and column which you do not want to import.
Then create new Access database for your imported Excel file. Then follow the following steps:
-
Click on File
-
Get external data
-
Import
-
Change file type to xls and then select spreadsheet to
-
import.
You can also do copy paste. Select the entire spreadsheet and click ctrl-c. Create new table in Access and click ctrl-v to paste.

Hi,
From Access, import your Excel spreadsheet into a table.
Then create queries "create table" by selecting the fields that you want in each table is created.
Once you have created tables, add primary keys then finalize with the "relationship" window.
You can remove applications "create table" and the table where you import your Excel sheet.

Hi dear Karamel.roset,
You are willing to convert your data from spreadsheet to access files.
Yes, there is a way. The Microsoft tells us the solution about this. According the website you have to install the following soft to convert the data. Please download this and install it.
The download link are given below – https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Move-data-from-Excel-to-Access-90C35A40-BCC3-46D9-AA7F-4106F78850B4
After install hopefully you can do what ever you want. There are also some other software to convert any other thing.
If you wish you can use them.
