I am using one Windows 2007 server for the clients company.  Last week till today morning, I put on the server and many users were accessing the server.  Suddenly today, when I tried to open the server remotely, it’s showing, "network path not found”.

I got shocked to see the error, is there anyone help me in solving the issue?

I suggest you to do this for the solution of this problem.

  • First of all click on the start button and click on the Control Panel
  • Then open the Network Connections.
  • Then right click on the adapter of the network and select the properties.
  • Then click on the internet protocol and select the properties.
  • Then click on the advance tab and select the WINS button.
  • Then Enable the Net BIOS to TCP/IP.
  • Then press ok button after closing.
  • Then come back to the network connections and try again to connect.
  • You should be connected from the client machine.

I hope this should resolve the problem.

Thank you.
