I have recently purchased a new wireless router – Netgear Wi-Fi Extender. I have successfully connected to the Access Point and obtained a valid IP Address. Now, I want to know how to connect to Netgear Wi-Fi Extender with and without the Ethernet Port?
The following article will provide you with the instructions on how you can wirelessly connect to your Netgear Wi-Fi Extender manually.
1. With an Ethernet Port-
ï‚· Connect your product to the computer using an Ethernet cable.
 Now, navigate to this link ‘http://mywifiext.net/’ and enter the default credential details. Username: admin Password: password
ï‚· After successful login, go to Setup > Wireless Settings.
ï‚· Check and change the value in the password field under Security Options. It should be the same as your Access Point key.
ï‚· Click on Apply.
ï‚· Reconnect the Wireless devices to the Extender.
2. Without an Ethernet Port-
ï‚· Press and hold the Factory Settings button to reset the Wi-Fi Extender to the default options.
ï‚· Connect your computer to the device using wireless network.
 Enter the default login credentials as stated above on the following web user interface ‘http://mywifiext.net/’.
ï‚· Follow the setup wizard to establish the connection to your Access Point.
ï‚· Reconnect your Wi-Fi devices using either the WPS button or the manual method.
