My uncle runs a book store and he was managing his business with one table top desktop. Now, recently, he bought 4 more desktops to the store. One for the accountant, one for the sales person who takes care of supply of books to schools. One for the receptionist. I used to help him with internet and other software installation things. Hr has wired broadband connection which is currently connected to old PC. Which device (s) should I buy in order establish connection to all the PCs. How to set up? Let me know if you need details of the new computers. Thank you in advance

There are multiple options to solving this problem. They are as follows:

Option 1: Connect computers without internet using either an Ethernet cable or crossover cable running from computer to
computer. This method is very secure as no one can access the files unless physically there. Make sure to enable file sharing on all computers and if applicable a home network. Make sure network sharing is also on.

Option 2: HDMI cable is a faster more efficient cable similar to Ethernet cable. Simply plug into both computers and follow the same steps as above.

Option 3: The cloud allows you to upload files online and access them from a different device anywhere, anytime. Examples of cloud based companies include: Dropbox, Icloud, and Cloudlock to name a few.

On a side note if he wished to switch to wireless and computers don’t support WiFi you can purchase adapters for each computer.
