Hi. The steps to follow so as to install the HP Officejet Pro K5400 ink using add printer require you to click on start, select settings and then click on printers twice. Then, click on add printer twice and click on next. Next, select the network printer or the server for the network and then click on next. Then, enter the network path of the shared device followed by clicking on next. Then, click on next to select the device from the list of shared printers. Then follow the instructions which appear on the screen to complete the installation.
The device can be configured on Mac OS by connecting the PC to the device using a USB cable. Then, in the CD drive, insert the CD and select the icon of the CD twice followed by clicking on the setup icon twice. Then, click on the install software option and finish the installation by following the instructions which appear on the screen. The device can be shared with the other Mac users as well.
