How can I search Facebook places? I just registered a Facebook account and searching some friends, relatives to add. Is it possible for me to search places and find some common friends out there? Give me some instruction to make this done properly.

Here is some solution that might help you.
First, go to your profile/timeline and click on friends.
Then use the drop-down list to choose "search by current City"
After you choose the Current city, enter the name of the city.
This will find your Facebook friends and family that list that city as their current city.
You can also find people you may know who live in a particular city and not currently your Facebook friends or relative. Then Clock on Find Friends at the top of the window and in the current city field then enter the city name that you want.Â

Of course it’s possible and Facebook provides you the facility to search by people, Things or places. You can type anything related to above mentioned options just type it on the search box available on the top of the Facebook window and click on search icon.
It’ll give you many suggestions and sometimes it’ll be hard to find what you really want to try to be specific with the searching. Searching with the fiends name is a good option and it will show you the results if that friend has allowed his/her profile to view by the public.
If you know the email address it’s will definitely show you the person or place who use that email address because Facebook allows a single email address to registered only one time.
