How can I make the video and audio length equal?

I want to edit the video. The video length is 10:01.645. The audio length is 10:20.931. Using virtual dub to combine the audio and video I can see it’s very far from sync. How can I make the video and audio length equal? I think it is not possible.

How can I make the video and audio length equal?

It is possible. In your question you wrote that your video length is 10:01.645 and your audio length is 10:20.931. So If you need to equal your video and audio length then you should add some video effects for equaling the video and audio length. You can add some  video effects as your wish. Add effects until it's matching to your audio length. Then your video length showing like that (10:20.931). Then your video and audio length become equal. I hope you got it.
