I want to get YouTube Cache Proxy Script so I can save load time and bandwidth every time I access back the same video. Your help will highly be appreciated guys, thanks!

Get Youtube Cache Proxy Script

Hi John,

It is a good alternative to save bandwidth, any times we see the same video. Is this blog explains how to mount a script using Squid (proxy server and web cache daemon) and Nginx (Web server) both open source, for caching YouTube videos.

It's not a perfect solution, but also experimenting. You did not specify what OS you are using, this is done in Linux / Ubuntu.

Thanks for your question. Well if you want to save bandwidth and load time then you can use the above mentioned software.

-mikrotik web proxy cache YouTube
-Squid proxy cache YouTube video
-Bluecoat proxy YouTube cache

But It would be more easier if you mentioned your OS.
