How can I get speed test stc bandwidth?

I am using now a stc wifi connection service. I want to check the truth what my service provider says. How to speed test stc bandwidth connection? Is there any add on or website that can test my broadband speed connection?

How can I get speed test stc bandwidth?

The best place to do this is to use web page test:  http://www.webpagetest.org/

It will automatically detect who your provider is, and your IP address. Click on Begin Test and watch. It normally takes about 2 minutes to complete. You can then rate your provider. If your speed test is lower than what the provider says, you can give them a lower rating, and if higher, give them a good rating.

If you are not getting good speeds, you should also check your wireless networked card, sometimes older ones cannot handle the new speeds.
