Hello, when I’m formatting my memory card on windows xp I got some errors and it cannot be formatted. My friend told memory card can be formatted on DOS mode. How can I format memory card dos mode?

Dear Goldie Bond,
It is so simple to format the memory card in DOS mode.
You have to do what I am saying here.

Attach you SD Memory Card to your computer. Computer will take some moments to detect.

Open My Computer and see the drive letter of memory card. For example it can be D drive, E drive or F drive.

Suppose the card’s drive letter is E. Then do this.

Open DOS by typing “cmd” in run menu.

Type a command in dos.
/> format F (Now press enter)
/> All data will be erased.
DO you want to continue? Y/N (Here you have to choose Y for Yes)
Now your card is being formatted. It will show you the formatting progress in percentage.
