Hello techyv! I would just like to ask if the total capacity of the WD VelociRaptor would not interfere with its performance? Like making it slow to respond and the likes? Regards!

The truth is that the Velocity Raptor is really fast, so if you make 2 or 3 partitions, the speed will only decrease by about 5%, but I don’t think you will go to feel the difference. The other problem is that because the hdd is very large, it will not be as fast as a SSD drive, which can be faster than the WD by 100%. So if you need space but with good performance and speed overall, then go with the WD Velocity Raptor, but if you need really fast speeds but less space, let’s stay 250GB, then go with a SSD drive, I can recommend you OCZ.
