How can I configure email on communicate pro server?

Hallo good people!

I have a communicate pro server called CommuniGate Pro running on my system and attached to my IP address. I have not been able to configure emailing system to work, neither am I able to set up Voice over IP service. The entire server set up went on very well without any hitches but I am simply not able to figure out how to get this to work. Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

Hi Leona,

Make sure that the correct setting is made on the SMTP queue say, the format would be @IP address|hostname SMTP queue. Use the same Local IP Address that was set to receive the messages. So same information for the SMTP and the Outgoing protocol.

You have to remember that if you have a firewall and the IP Address you are using is an internal LAN this will fail to send the messages via the internet.
