How can I change the view options in excel?

To change the view options:

  •  Select Tools menu.
  •  Select Options.
  • The Option dialog box is displayed.
  • Select the view tab.

Formula bar : Select this check box to display the formula bar.

Status bar: Select this check box to display the status bar.

Windows in Taskbar: Select this check box to list each open work book from being listed on the task bar.

  • Click an option button to choose how an object will appear in the Object area:

Hid all: Select to hide all objects. 

Show all: Select to show all objects.

 

Show Placeholder: Selects to show a gray box where the object appears.

  • Choose which items you want to display in the window options area

Page breaks: Select to display page breaks on the screen.                               

Formula: Select  to see formulas, rather than results.

Gridlines: Select to display gridlines and deselect to hide gridline.

Horizontal scroll bars: Select this option to display the horizontal scroll bars.

Outline symbols: Select this option if you want to display outline symbols

Row & column hears: Select this option to display row and column headings.

Sheet tabs: Do not select this option if you want to hide the Sheet tabs.

Vertical scroll bars: Do not select this option if you want to hide the vertical Scroll bars.

Zero values: Do not select this option if you want to hide cell containing 0. Select OK.

As we know there are actually a lot of ways to change the view of an excel sheet.

If you’re really curious on how to do this try clicking on the “View” tab.

It will actually give you options on how you want your sheet to look like.
