How To Automate System Maintenance in Windows XP

How can I automate disk cleaner, disk defragmenter, and registry cleaner in Windows XP? If I use Scheduled Tasks can it perform the operation without interfering my work?

How To Automate System Maintenance in Windows XP

 All you have to do is to add Disk Cleanup on the scheduled tasks.

1. Go to Control Panel – System Maintenance-Scheduled Tasks.

2. Start the Scheduled Task Wizard by double clicking the Add Scheduled Task button, This will pull up list of applications that you want windows to run regularly.
3. Click Disk Cleanup, then click Next.
4. You will then be asked to select frequency for this task. Recommended is weekly.
5.Choose a day and time of the week when you want windows to automatically run Disk Cleanup and then click on Apply, then OK
