Could you access Active Directory services to other 3rd party?

Where is the AD database held?

What are those same folders which is similar to AD?

And how do replication properties for AD partitions and DC?

Microsoft Identity Integration Server is used to connect Active Directory to other 3rd-party Directory Services.

Or we can use LDAP to connect to other directories.(Lightweight Directory Access Protocol –LDAP)

Database is saved in/ntds. You can see other files also in this folder.

These are the main files controlling the AD structure
ntds.dit
edb.log
res1.log
res2.log c:windowsntdsNTDS.DIT

Install Replication Monitor from Support tools, run from command line with "replmon" command, and add DC and it will show you all partitions that DC holds and all replication partners for each partition
