Hitting keyboard keys then another letter appears on the screen

I am using a HP keyboard at first it was working well and then one time i spilled a coffee in it. after i turned on the computer and start working in my documents i found out that the keyboard is not following the right letters when i hit a key instead the other letter appears on the screen(example: when i hit the key Z, letter U appears on the screen).

Can anyone please help me with my problem?

This problem is very common as the coffee that was spilled has done the damage to your HP keyboard and affected the keyboard chip, that’s the reason your keyboard is giving you the wrong data.  

The solution for you is either to buy a new keyboard as you can get cheap keyboards with good quality functioning in the market now days or replace the Keyboard buttons with each other (i.e. take out the U letter from the keyboard and place it over Z).

It happens in many keyboards specially when they are fallen down or liquid drops on to the keyboard and affects the proper functioning of the device.

Well this is a problem that is faced by many people after spilling liquid on their Keyboard.

You need to dry up the Keyboard with a dryer but don't do it for long otherwise your keys with loose shape.

You can do it by removing all the keys and then dry the interior of your keyboard. After doing so, install the keys. It'll work.

Otherwise buy an external Keyboard. You can also replace your keyboard by contacting a repair centre.

Nowadays Used keyboard are also sold at cheap prices.
