Here maps make my Nokia Lumia to restart

My problem here is that the mobile restarts every time I open here maps. I am a Nokia Lumia proud user and always promoted the mobile to my friends and relatives. But, when I thought of using here maps, it started to gave problems. Earlier, l thought this is an issue of update. Might be it restarted to update the issue. But my assumptions were wrong and it happens most of the time. Whenever it doesn’t restart, it simply hangs. I have to press back button long time and close the app. Have anybody too faced the same problem? Is it covered under warranty? Any alternatives for here maps. I am sorry for my mobile but I have uninstalled here maps now. Please comment.

Since you did not mention the exact model of your Nokia Lumia, let’s use Nokia Lumia 930 as an example. The Nokia Lumia 930 Smartphone is not an Android phone or an iOS device. It runs on Microsoft Windows 8.1. The HERE Maps app works on Microsoft Windows Phone 8 and later so it definitely works on the handset. With regards to the physical RAM of the phone, I also don’t see a problem.

The Nokia Lumia 930 Smartphone runs on 2 GB RAM and that’s a big memory to handle mobile apps. If you continuously experience the restarting of the device when using HERE Maps, make sure you don’t have other apps running while using HERE Maps. If the problem continues, try using Waze Social GPS Navigation App. The app allows drivers to create and use live maps and real-time traffic updates to make their daily commute better.
