The PDF files do not have any options for editing and make the work harder to convert to any format. I want to edit my PDF file on Acrobat DC reader. Is there a way to do so?

Yes, you can edit PDF files using Acrobat DC. Open the file using Acrobat and click on the tool named Edit PDF in the right pane. Choose on the image or text to edit and the reader will show you the tools needed. Edit text on the page without altering the format of the document. You can replace, resize, add, or move images with the tools from Objects list. You can also click on the footers and headers, links, water marks, etc. to go on the path of editing one step further.
