Hello Peeps!

My skype was having some connection issues with the sound and video chat so I decided to re-install the program. Before I reinstalled the program my friend changed my operating system from windows 7 to windows vista. After I installed Skype, when it opened up several errors came out. Error s651, s652, s650, and s491. We tried reinstalling again, but to no avail. What can I do?

Hello Marcus Shawn,

The main problem is that if you has an issue with microphone and video chat, you will need to check your sound and camera settings. If this could not solve your issue then you must have to delete the old skype from control panel then click add and remove program click delete by highlighting the skype setup. This problem might arise due to the older version of skype for this you have to download new version of skype along with this you have to check the other settings like micro phone and camera.

Hope this will work.

Which version of Skype are you trying to install. First read its requirements. Is your system is compatible on those requirements or not? If that is okay then there might be some kind of virus. Scan your computer with a good anti-virus and then try again. Make sure that the Skype version is fully updated or not. If not then update it. You can also try it from safe mode. Try to install Skype in safe mode or else there might be files are corrupt. Had you checked your sound and speaker, everything is okay. There drivers are working properly or not. Update the drivers of sound and video and follow the above instructions to fix your problem.
