In these days PDF is the common format of file for sharing and distributing. It is compatible with any platform.

Everyone has to download PDF software to create but Mac users have a default installed Application of creating PDF formats.

Follow these steps to create PDF formats on Mac.

1. Open that file which you want to turn into PDF.

2. Click on the file and then print.

3. Click on the PDF button and then click on save as PDF.

Now give the location where you want to save the file in just 3 steps.

Hello Toby,

The MAC operating system comes with the built in feature of making PDF's.

To find the PDF maker in you MAC OS please do the following steps:

1. In any application/ program, search for a print dialog box.

2. Here find the PDF button, click it when found.

3. After a click it will open a drop down menu of some options about saving the PDF in any directory and print as PDF.

This will do it. If you need to download a separate software for this feature. Yes you can do it too.

Please download Easy PDF freeware. It creates the PDF document within few minutes and very easy to use.
