Having trouble on tracing I.P. from email

Hi,

I’m having a problems on tracing I.P. addresses especially on my email account, i receive a bulk emails from my competitor without a message and I believe it’s just 1 person sending it, it’s different email addresses. I search through internet to solve this but can find the software that can trace this mysterious email. Any idea?

Hi Jerome,

Normally the From line would not be genuine for the email you received if the person who sent it wanted to hide their identity. But there are ways to trace the emails that most people are unaware of. It is by viewing the email header.

Click on the email and click options, then select View Full Header or something similar. Here you see certain information regarding the email such the email address of the person who sent it and the mail server they use. Do you spot your competitor email address? Give him a thorough warning if you find him to be the culprit.
